CHAP ONE - STRANGE FREQUENCIES
CD/LP/EP RELEASE

The music of "Chap One"has arrived on vinyl and CD folks and it's all happening at the The Order of Melbourne- Thursday March 22nd, 2012.

Come and join us in celebrating the life and the extraordinary music of the lateSam McNulty (aka Chap One) - March 19th, 1981 - July 16th, 2011

We'll be spinning tracks from back to back releases of both 'Future History - For the People's Sake' (vinyl EP) along with the masterfully crafted, 15 tracks vinyl and CD release of 'Strange Frequencies.' All 3 releases will be available for sale at the event - in vinyl and CD format

This is a NOT TO BE MISSED event as we come together to remember and commemorate the one and only, "Chap One" and the amazing legacy he left us in his music - his flow and exquisite artistry and composing skills.  As a human being we come together to remember his deep and compassionate spirit and gentle heart…. and that million dollar smile. We're also timing this event to coincide with what would be the Chap One's 31st birthday…. so this is a double celebration, folks.

Chap One re-defined the boundaries of Hip Hop, Jazz, and RnB to masterfully craft a hybrid style reflective of his roots and uniquely his own.Fifteen track ‘Strange Frequencies’ is the result of this finely tuned cross-genre of bang’n conscious Hip Hop, with ingenious musical composition, recorded live by some of jazz music’s finest including: Gary Thomas, Paul Bollenback, Barney McAll,  Ugonna Okegwo, mother, jazz vocalist-composer, Chris McNulty among others…

Chap One collaborated with Durban Poison and Tony Wolf on the 'Future History - For the People's Sake' project and with Chris McNulty and Paul Bollenback on the 'Strange Frequencies' project. During his 10 year career spent between Melbourne and NYC, Chap One also worked along side Elf Transporter, Culture Connect, The Black Jesus Experience, Elemente, Tai Tanium, Liam Monkhouse (aka) the Monk, Nui Moon and the ThreeSixtyMusic Fam (Mike Justice, Pablo, Rhys (aka) Ardent One, Terry (aka) Trumpnotics, MC Trooth and Gemz Stonez)among many others…..

Chap One was a diamond. He sent a powerful message of hope and redemption, love and peace AND this extraordinary music is all going to be unveiled in full regalia on the evening of Thursday March 22nd, 2012
